Beechview Manor is a non-profit, charitable organization with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Although we hold a tax-exempt status, Beechview Manor pays City, County and School taxes so we can contribute to our Beechview, Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Communities.
We take our obligation to our residents, neighbors and community seriously and do our best to live up to our Christian Mission.
We serve low- and extremely-income senior citizens aged 62 and older, and those individuals from the ages of 18 to 62 whose mobility difficulties meet the design needs of our accesible units.
The residents of Beechview Manor have various social community events throughout the year that serve to ensure socializing, community building and foster friendships.
These events are totally funded by 50/50 ticket and bake sales that the residents hold weekly at the Manor – all self-suficient funding.
Here is a partial list of some of the anual social events and ways we use the Social Fund:
BYOBowl Soup + Sandwich Luncheons – 4 or 5 over the course of the winter months
Birthday Partys – twice annually
Lenten Fish Fry
Picnics – twice annually
Annual Christmas Dinner
Buying flowers for the outside in the Sprint, and Pointsettias for the inside at Christmas time, and to purchase various decorations.
It can be a stretch for our low-income seniors who are on an extremely fixed income to fund their events, especially our Christmas Dinner, so we ask, that you donate to our PayPal Money Pool, which goes directly towards funding the above events and needs.
Please consider contributing to our Social Fund by clicking here: PAYPAL
Your tax-deductable donation will go towards enriching the lives of our Beechview Manor senior citizens, and we THANK and BLESS you for your generosity!
Gratefully, Joanne Bartone, Property Manager
